The food is awesome. The people are friendly as well (if it’s not too friendly).
We went for 6 people and have mixed platters.
Ordered the half chicken and half lamb shish as recommended. It was really tasty, juicy and the salsa binds it all together. It comes with bread and some salad too.
Only let down was the price transparency. One of the wait staff told us the half and half option was 170 lira each but we were charged 200 lira each (maybe the bread and salad cost extra?) Not a huge difference anyways and still a delicious meal but something to be aware of. Staff were friendly otherwise and would come again.
Someone in bazaar told us they have the best kebabs here.
It was delicious and spicy. We liked it so much. Price was reasonable.
A non-touristy gem in a very touristy area. This restaurant is situated just outside the grand bazaar, and serves a variety of popular Turkish kebab based dishes. The restaurant attracts a local crowd and has a lot of returning customers. We ordered the Adana kebab and mixed pide and both dishes were fresh and packed with flavor. Highly recommend this place for a post grand bazaar lunch!
Our order comprised of Iskender kebap, Adana Kebap and Cheese pide, served along with fresh hot bread (like khubz), nice yogurt with mashed egg plant and ezme !
Everything was quite good, just that the iskender kebap was asana kebap sliced in the middle to make it thinner since they don't have the vertical rotisserie. However, it was quite good and was done perfectly.
Restaurant suggested by a localite frequented and liked by locals, hence prices are super affordable and not a tourist trap. Excellent food, quick service, neat and tidy.
Adana kebap : 120 turkish lira or 5 £ for 2 seekh (This is 250-300 at tourist traps)
Iskender kebap : 150 turkish lira or 6.5 £
Cheese pide : 80 Turkish lira or 3.5 £.
One of the best kebabs in Istanbul. The price is great. The service is excellent. If you are looking for a place near Grand Bazaar you should definitely check this place out. I highly recommend it.
Very tasty food and good hospitality..
I also loved the old turkish street there
We will visit it again in our next vacation enshallah
Came across this place while exiting Grand Bazaar and looking for lunch.Food was tasty and price reasonable - spent about 600 TL for 4 pax. Service was fast and restaurant was full.
